Isa58 provides or assists in the provision of facilities and services in the interest of social welfare for individuals marginalised through age, infirmity or disability, financial, social and emotional circumstances, with the object of improving their condition of life and to advance the education of children and young people and adults.

Isa58 delivers practical and educational support to community members isolated through deprivation, focusing on the wards of Bentilee and Townsend, Burslem South and North, Abbey Green, Fenton and Longton and Blurton.

The support and services delivered include:

• Provision of safe and secure environment youth facilities including holistic educational packages of support

• Opportunity of development of lifeskills for young people and community members within accessible environment such as within the beneficiaries home, school or work environment

• Provision of emergency accommodation to young people and support into permanent either as reconciliation into parental home including mediation or into appropriate housing.

• To improve engagement with education and training for young people of primary and secondary age who are excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, through provision of an alternative education programme.

• To increase opportunities for young people who are marginalised through social and educational exclusion. To provide meaningful engagement to reduce isolation, promote positive social interaction and remove barriers to training and employment thus reducing the proportion of 16-19 year olds not in education, employment or training (NEET) by 2% points by 2010.
